High Camping in the Jungle, Why the Hammock + Tarp System Fails in Rainy Season

Provided your tent has a waterproof base and you choose a campsite with reasonable drainage, you shouldn’t have any problem with ground flooding, in the mountains everything will eventually flow downhill and away from you.
