Hammock rain setup and how to stay dry: Drip Lines and Water Breaks
Just a quick hammock camping tip video about how I stay dry hammock camping in the rain. As long as you have adequate tarp coverage the main danger is getting water run-off from the tree which runs to the tree straps, then to the hammock suspension and finally wicks into your hammock. This is major bad news for your camping gear! No one wants to wake up with a wet head, feet or sleeping bag!

I use cinch buckles as a water break and also use simple hammock drip lines which so far has done a great job of keeping me dry. It’s a simple and easy mod that hammock campers should be aware of. I’ve even seem people hang clothes on their suspension system to act as a break. Happy camping!
