CAMPING IN THE RAIN

3 Day Canoe trip Camping in a Rain Storm – Day 1

This was a 3 day canoe trip up the Sechelt Inlet, on day 1 we experience a lot of rain in the canoes and surprisingly it was wonderful. The temperature was warm and there where no winds so the rain was very relaxing. We set up camp and as soon as we did we were hit with a very strong rain storm. Some of the hardest rain I have ever experienced camping.

I finally got to try out my new tent the OneTigris Back Woods Bungalow 2.0. My first impressions of this are awesome! I learned about this tent from an amazing YouTube channel called Corporals Corner, if you haven’t seen it yet I would highly recommend it.

The rest of the day consisted of fire wood processing and gathering, then drying up In-front of the camp fire and the guys catching and cooking fish.

I hope this inspires you to go out camping, and or just enjoying the outdoor wilderness.

Thanks for watching Backcountry Tripper a.k.a Dave.
